Your food scan history is stored locally on your device using localStorage. This includes:

• Food images you've scanned
• Nutrition information (calories, macros)
• Timestamps of scans

1.3 Usage Data

We track basic usage statistics locally on your device:

• Number of scans performed (for daily limit tracking)
• Premium purchase status
• App preferences (dark mode, etc.)

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
• Location data
• Contact lists
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or tracking cookies

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Primary Use

Food images are analyzed by Google Gemini AI to:

• Identify food items
• Estimate nutritional content (calories, protein, carbs, fat)
• Suggest recipes for ingredients

3.2 Local Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or cloud storage for your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Gemini AI

We use Google Gemini AI for food image analysis. When you scan food:

• Your image is sent to Google's servers
• Google processes the image according to their Privacy Policy
• Google does not use your images to train AI models

4.2 Google Play Services

If you make in-app purchases, Google Play handles the transaction according to their Privacy Policy.

We implement the following security measures:

• All data is stored locally on your device

• Export: Your data is stored locally and never leaves your device

NutriScan AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
